Trailer 2 Dawn of the planet of the apes

Dawn of the planet of the apes:

At the start of the trailer for dawn of the planet of the apes you hear synester music along with seeing destruction in a forest. This gives viewers an instant idea that there is war or some sort of fight and that there has been many tragedies. We then hear the voice of someone saying "we've been through hell together" which gives the impression that a fight has previously taken place.
After this we hear the voice again saying " we all know what we are up against" and straight after we see an image of an ape. This tells the audience that the humans are fighting against the apes.
For the next 20 seconds we see the image of the ape but the camera zooms outwards. As this is happening the music intensifies and as soon as the ape moves as well as all of the other apes the music reaches its highest point and then fades away to add drama to the audiences feelings.

Trailer 1 Edge of Tommorow

Edge of Tommorow:
At the start of the trailer we hear synester music as well as seeing the main character (Tom Cruise) laying in a hospital bed. This suggests that someone terrrible may of happened to him and so instantly the audience feel sorry for him and so side with Tom Cruise.
As you see the war taking place, there are high angle shots on Tom Cruise which suggests that he is not in control and that his side are failing in the attempt of the invasion.
As the trailer moves further on these high angle shots change in to low angle shots as he becomes more powerful from the training. we can tell that he becomes stronger as we haer right at the end of the trailer when he says"im not a soldier" for only the women to reply "of course your not, your a weapon". this suggests that he is very powerful and that he is the main man.
We see bold words like live, die and repeat which suggests that in the war there are a lot of deaths.
There is a lot of non digetic sound which intensifies as the trailer moves. there is some digetic sound like gun shots and explosions which are normally in the background.
